Whether it is TikTok, aka BookTok or Instagram, this book has taken over the feed of every book lover and this is why every book lover is interested in knowing about this hyped book.
Well, we are talking about Icebreaker book by Hannah Grace and since we know how much people hate spoilers, this review here is going to be completely spoiler free, so that you can decide on your own, with brief information about the book, whether you want to read it or not.
Icebreaker by Hannah Grace: Book Summary And Details
The first thing that you need to know about the book is the Icebreaker Book Summary which is going to be free of any spoilers as we have already mentioned.
Hannah Grace has formulated the story about a female figure skater, Anastasia who practises the sport at her University. The female lead of the story dreams of going to the Olympics in the partner figure skating event. On the other hand, we have Nathan, who is a member of the jockey team of the University with his target of reaching the NHL.
This simple extract makes it clear that the story is a sports romance and as the story progresses, the characters have to share the same ice rink due to an issue and this causes tension between the characters. Essentially, the figure skating team and the hickey team butt heads, whereas, Nathan steps up to be Anastasia’s partner after an accident with her partner.
This is the basic plot of the story which might appear simple; however, Hannah Grace has written the book in an interesting way which makes up for the basic plot. Final Rating
I gave this book 4 stars. I was almost on a 4.5 rating, but I thought a lot about it, and I think it deserves 4 stars, and I still think that is right. So four stars to me is I would defs read it, I would recommend it, I would like to see what other books the author puts out but it’s not my absolute favorite.
Yes it helped to get what it did not give me, however it definitely could have been much improved and, again, at least a good book to read. That then, sums up what four stars to me. About spiciness I would give it a 3.5 or 4 of 5. There’s a lot of it.
